Yieldworks - Brochure

ePaper
A modelling solution for maximising solar PV array size , batteries and demand in areas of grid connection constraints.

New simulation software offers an engineered solution for the connection of renewable energy systems in areas with poor grid connection. Anyone that has recently attempted to obtain grid approval for the connection of a renewable energy system to the local grid is aware that it is becoming increasingly challenging to connect without significant connection charges coupled with long lead times for network reinforcement works.

Yieldworks

ePaper
Yieldworks is a modelling system developed by LHW Partnership LLP to assess and optimism the most effective PV system array sizing. It accommodates a combination of export constraint limitation, on-site projected or historic half hourly consumption and predicted solar PV yields.

Using industry leading modelling software and shade analysis technology a solar PV project can be modelled from total export to constrained export scenarios, allowing for shading, on site demands, private wire and future peak generation storage offset.

Solar PV - Verification & Validation

ePaper
We utilise state of the art module and string analysing technology, shading analysis and thermographic systems to prepare accurate and reliable performance and output estimates. We also assess the performance of existing systems and run fault diagnostics on any under-performing installations.

Experience has shown that in the haste to install PV systems in anticipation of Feed-in Tariff and ROC digression, many of the installed PV systems were subject to teething issues and sub-optimal performance outputs. LHW Partnership can offer in-depth analysis and fault diagnostics services to help improve deficiencies and overall performance of existing solar PV systems.

Energy Peformance & Data Monitoring

ePaper
We are qualified energy engineers and can provide expert data analysis services specifically for the adoption of generation. Obtaining energy demand profiles down to 1 minute intervals (compared to the hourly profiles typically used) allows for a more granular assessment of the viability of an energy solution. This is
particularly important when looking at the technical and financial viability of a generation or energy storage system.

Grid Connection Applications

ePaper
We prepare and submit grid connection applications for submission to Distribution

Network Operators (DNO) and Independent DNOs (iDNO) for the following:
-Multiple G83/2
-G59/3 LV and HV Connected
-G100 Export Limiting
We prepare electrical SLDs, point of connection mapping and export constraint modelling.
