LHW Partnership has been undertaking Thermographic Infra Red diagnosis work for a number of years, and is a natural augmentation to faciliate the inspection work undertaken. We are qualified to the Level 1 & Level 2 standards required to inspect and issue technical reports, and undertake expert witness assignments.
WHAT IS THERMOGRAPHY?
Thermography is a non destructive tehnique to record the thermal properties of a building or object. A thermographic survey will detect infrared energy emitted and convert it to a temperature. This thermal imaging data is colour coded via individual pixels and displays an image of the object.
Thermographic surveys can also identify areas for potential improvement, minimising heat loss and energy wastage and reducing running costs and carbon emissions.
We are UK Thermography Authority Members, Chartered Engineer, Chartered Energy Manager, and Energy Institute/Environment Agency approved lead ESOS Auditors, so have a holistic understading of the areas of operation.
We can provide geo referenced, video or still images and are authorised to can data gather as well as authorise complete technical reports.
Most convenient, and used for the routine assignments, when special access is not required.
When large scale data is required, for example solar PV farms, and volume husing stock
Where access restriction makes other platforms inappropriate
Where safety restrictions restrict the use of drones, and working height is required.
